Mobile Phone problem

I sent a picture to my son's mobile and when he opened it "something" happened and he has lost all his numbers, texts, pictures etc. He phoned me from a call box to tell me, and he's frantic as he's going abroad tomorrow and is bereft without all his numbers. Is it possible that I have a virus on my mobile-in fact, is it possible to get a mobile phone virus? My phone appears to be working fine.

Thank you,
Marybelle

needs to be a Nokia with Symbian or one running Andriod

if not either of those then its not a virus
