Good grief! With all the paper work that Alliance & Leicester send you when you open their "Premier Direct Account", you'd think at least one of them would tell you what their sort code is!! I've scoured their website and I can't find it on there either! Rubbish!!
I know it's on my cheque book - that's where I usually get it from - but I can't find it this morning so am asking you great guys to see if anyone has it!
Please, does anyone have the sort code for A&L's online "Premier Direct" current account?
I will love you long time xx
Thanks.
(p.s. i've had the account for 18 months if that makes any difference to it

I think it is 72 50 0X
where X is the first digit of your account number.0 -
72-50-0? Last number is the first number of your account number.0

STARS! Yes, that looks about right from what I can remember. Why oh why oh why is it only on the cheque book and not on the online account?? They're fools.
Thank you.

your account number will have NINE digits instead of the normal 8.
The first digit of this nine will at the back of the sort code *hence -
72-50-0*0 -
Yep, the paperwork is a real pain. I have to keep the big square orange booklet by my pc where I can get my hands on the details. Biggest problem I had was with looking for the 'address of branch' to set up DD's. I never thought to look on cheque book as I've never used it....is it even on there? lol
debt free...yippee :dance:0 -
In fact the sort code is a part of IBAN that you can see at the bottom of your online statement. However, I agree that they are fools and cold have made this simpler and even print the sort code on a debit card as all other banks do.dudleyboy wrote:...
