Kittypink, there is another site doing perfume oil dupes, they are called The Perfume People (if you google it it should come up). They do a Chloe by Chloe (08) dupe.

I haven't used them yet, but they have some fragrances that Perfume Parlour don't have in stock. They also have an ebay shop: perfumeoilboutique, and if you send them an email they send you a list of all the ones they do.

I have found this thread and the other one about cheap smellalikes invaluable, and now have several Perfume Parlour fragrances, as well as Milton Lloyd, Linn Young and Jeanne Arthes scents.

I prefer spicy woody amber perfumes and have several of these in dupes if anyone is interested in a review.

Sorry this is so long for a first post - have been lurking on these threads for a while.
I love perfumes, especially expensive ones, and I'm always looking for ways to save money!:)

I was about to purchase some perfumes from Perfume Parlour for the first time today but I wondered if any of their perfume oils or ingredients are or have ever been tested on animals? Unfortunately, there is no mention of this on their website and I just wondered if anyone on the forum knows? If not, I will try to contact the company for further information.

    I contacted them last year.
At first they said 'products' weren't tested on animals - not answering the question I'd asked which specified ingredients too.
When pushed they said neither products nor ingredients were.
When I said 'Great! Any plans to get BUAV approval?' they kind of batted me off with 'not at the moment'.
Very short answers that I felt were just lip service and not good enough for me.
Consequently I didn't believe them and haven't purchased any of their oils.
    *Look for advice, not 'advise'*
    *Could/should/would HAVE please!*

It is illegal to offer for sale any cosmetic item that has been, or contains ingredients that have been tested on animals in any country in the EU, since March 2013, so unless they are cheerfully breaking the law I would say that are telling the truth. Possibly the cost of getting the BUAV badge of approval is the reason they don't have it yet, Perfume Parlour is only a small business after all.

Overly sweet. Nauseating. Like a designer perfume you have smelled before only worse.

I think i've asked this before on this forum but never get a response and am desperate. Anyone know a smell alike for prada candy (the original) i've had the Perfume Palour one and it smells nothing like prada candy.

I am literally obessed with the smell its amazing but so expensive.
Also anyone know a smell alike or if the perfume palour version is good of the new Michael Kors Fragrances mainly the Sexy amber and the original michael kors?

I`ve looked everywhere. Why does no-one do Sisley no 2 copies.I`ve used it for about 4 years now but its getting so expensive.
  • I've found a little shop in Cardiff that stocks a large range of Milton Lloyd fragrances and some other smell a like brands too. I was impressed by the diesel smell a like, since I use the proper fuel for life but I bought the Gucci Guilty smell a like "bondage l'affaire". It was 3.99 for 50ml. The shop is called "the powder room" it's inside Cardiff queen's arcade, near the entrance by new look.
