Santander First Home Saver

I took out a First Home Saver Account in April this year, and I have just taken out a mortgage with Santander. Obviously the saving account is not a year old, but seeing as I'm taking out a mortgage with Santander I'm confused as to how the interest works and what I'm entitled to.
The mortgage advisor was massively unhelpful! Any ideas?

The way I interpreted the account your interest rate on the account and its running should be unaffected. If you're withdrawing the money now (or in the future) my guess is they'll probably let you off the mortgage interview given you've now got a Santander mortgate so it'd be a waste of their time trying to sell you one. For the time being I'd imagine there's no computer mechanism to force you to close the account so if you were to continue to fund it you'd carry on as you are. I'd assume if you were to close it now you'd get the interest accrued up to the closure date.0
