OH threatened with court action

OH is in debt to cap1 by about £4300, she has been making payments of £30 to CAPQUEST, they have now informed her that they want more and referred her to some sort of solicitors, solicitors sent letter out saying that if she doesnt pay in full it will go to court and they will charge an extra £160 on top of the outstanding amount, i gather this is going towards a CCJ against her or what else can they do, can bailiffs be sent into take stuff out of house?
What next steps should OH be doing now, she has not said she will not pay them, just not at the amount they are asking.
Any help or direction will be greatly appreciated.

If OH writes to the firm dealing with the account at the present moment, detailing their income and expenditure, proving how much they can reasonably afford to pay after all essential and reasonable life expenses have been deducted from their income, and agree to pay this each month from now on, reviewing it after six months, I doubt they'd take them to court.
Might even be worth enclosing a postal order for the amount of the next monthly payment stating in the letter than the PO is to be cashed on condition that these terms are acceptable.
No judge would be atall impressed by a creditor taking a debtor to court who can prove they have been paying reasonable amount affordable to them on a very regular basis.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

At £30 per month, it will take 12 years to pay of this debt."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
