Getting a mortgage whilst in an IVA?

yes it's possible
no it's not advisable - unless you have extenuating circumstances why it has to be now!
Do you have half the value of the home and are you willing to pay up 9% interest?Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?

I doubt it.
I just entered into an IVA and there was one company I didn't enter in the IVA as I didn't owe them anything at the time and my IP had advised I would be allowed up to £500 credit whilst under the IVA.
I borrowed £50 from this company (I have a credit limit of £1200) and within a week they blocked my account because they did a routine check through experian and found out about it.
I was so annoyed, I had never ever missed a payment with this company in the whole 8 years I have been with them, I really rely on them for emergencies and they stopped my credit just like that. If I was wanting to rip them off I wouldn't have borrowed just £50!
Also, if you are only allowed £500 credit as I was told I'd love to know of any company who would be daft enough to lend a mortgage.0
