Van Haulage Insurance 20 year old...

Well i am currently living in Australia but i am only here for 8 months. My plan has always been come here, travel abit, get a job, save up, come home and start a small haulage company.

I looked at insurance before i came and it was generally 1500 - 2000. But now i went on the same site, did the same details, and its gone too 6k!

Ill be 20 by the time i get back home. so wondering if anyone had any tips? or how much they may have paid?

Ive read some threads on other sites of it being around 2000 for a young driver, but doesn't state the age.

Any advice, sites, or anything would be greatly appreciated!

Love from down under! :D
