Hi ppl
Need your help here........
Since we got new neighbours last year they really don't bother with their garden and it's now overgrown and looks untidy.
At the end of the day that's their choice but since everything is growing in their garden I've noticed a tree has sprung up in between our garages at the bottom and as I cannot get in between them can someone suggest a way of killing it off so it doesn't cause any long term damage to my garage.
Also I now have loads of passionfruit growing in the same space and it's partially over some of my garage roof too - any suggestions to kill this too before it starts to run riot?
Cheers

I can't really help but passionfruit are so and so's to kill. I have one that pops back up every year, just don't let it grow, nuke it with weedkiller and keep an eye out for it when it comes back! The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0

Thanks KP
It's quite hard to get in between the garages coz it's so overgrown
That's why I was wondering if there is an easier solution or should I just chuck some weed killer in the gap?

Well call me a hippy but I would glad to see this plant growing like it does. It is such a beautiful plant. It is one of my personal favourites. I don't think the answer is to simply chuck weed killer everywhere as this is bad for the environment and bad for you. If anything Passionflowers are not incredibly hardy so hopefully a big frost will come along and kill it off! If the flowers come along next year - take a really good look at them - they are gorgeous. You could also try making something with the fruits...!"Debt makes plans for you" - A quote from my friend Catherine. How true!0

I am loathe to do this as I love trees
but if you need to kill it you should just cut a ring all the way round the circumference of the tree, deep enough to cut through the bark. Unless it's an exotic one like a palm that grows from the top it should kill it.
It's a shame it can't be replanted, but needs must!:(
I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...
I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!0 -
My mom has one of those plants. Are the fruits actual Passion Fruits then? I thought they looked like they were fruiting."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of."
