I know it's a different brand, but my wife is currently using a toshiba laptop which shipped with XP, probably 6 years+ old, nothing has broken on it and it works as well today as the day it was unboxed....maybe a little better as i upgraded the RAM a year or 2 ago.Yes you can buy an Acer or a Dell with the same CPU, RAM, HDD or better for several hundred quid less but in a year to 18 months, something will have broken.Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -
