Selling car for salvage

Can anyone give me some advice for selling my car to salvage.
I have been offered £150 with free collection for my car which was involved in an accident which is fair enough. I asked what I need to do in terms of my v5 they have said the person collecting will stamp the relevant section of my v5 which i send of to the dvla and they provide me with a certificate of destruction. Is this all ok? Thanks.

Yes I think it is, just get your bit of the V5 off to DVLA asap :money:I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
