No you're advice was only drive what you can afford to buy for cash. I could drive something a lot more expensive and buy for cash if i chose.
And its not like i havent owned cheapie cars before - and been very happy with them
Not at all, I suggested that paying cash was a far better option than any finance deal, I never suggested that anyone should spend all of their cash.

thanks everyone for your replies i didnt mean to cause a row between anyone on here just a bit of advice.
I have owned many second hand vehicles before but due to the nature of my job have found it extremely demanding on the vehicles. Taking advantage of warrantys and increased fuel consumption in new vehicles is one of the reasons why i would like a new vehicle, on top of the fact that its all very well and good having a reliable car but if you turn up to a client in a reliable banger i dont think its a good reflection on me or good for the company i work forEven a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.0
