Well after a busy two months, funds have been released as planned.
Contracts exchanged last week.
Completion is due tomorrow. Im pretty sure that there will be no problems from here on in, fingers crossed so will be picking keys up at some times tomorrow, hopefully, dinner time.
Im must say, from start to finish Post Office Mortgages have been superb (provided by Bank of Ireland).
My Solicitors have been great and always answer the phone in person.
The Vendors have been relaxed and very friendly, and offering their number in the event of queries. (although I havent got it yet).
So on with the work... lots of decorating, new flooring, painting and wall paper... All good.
Really excited and can't wait for tomorrow now!

I bet you spend most of tomorrow staring at your phone willing it to ring so you can hear that wonderful phrase "your house purchase has completed" so you can hotfoot it down to the EA's and pick up those all important keys! :j
Good luck and enjoy your new home!"Put the kettle on Turkish, lets have a nice cup of tea.....no sugars for me.....I'm sweet enough"0 -
Congratulations!!!! Hope all goes well and that you may enjoy getting stuck in with all the DIY soon!! We've just had an offer accepted and have instructed solicitors, so pretty much just the beginning of a nightmare of nerves!! Have pulled out most of my hair whilst looking and offering on a property and now, well lets just say there are always Dolly Parton wigs at discounted rates down the road!!!
