Not a rant or complaint.... Have the V6 in work today, cos getting bits for it later...

It's the baby, and mildly worried one of the lorries or vans that speed down the road will damage it, and quite a few of the cars that park where I do (edge of carriageway) are dented and scored. Not worried ordinarily about parking the coupe's there, but the V6 is the precious one!

Tuck in as close to the curb as you possibly can and try to park between two cars that are sticking out further into the road than yours does. Also fold your mirrors in if possible.

That way if a lorry is going to scrape down the sides of parked cars and knock off a few wing mirrors, yours is more likely to remain unscathed.


I hate taking my own car into work too, even though we have a car park we have one manager who always parks badly and the car park is covered in trees so your paintwork ends up covered in sap and bird poo.

The mirrors fold in automatically! Just mildly worried- coupe's have never come to any harm, but there's always a first time! I usually park beside my boss, and know generally most of the cars.
I don't know why I'm worried, but this isn't usually serving as a road car....

Just don't go to a supermarket on the way home and I'm sure you will be fine

lol! Strangely, we do use this one for the supermarket from time to time- the coupe's originally had boot space, but don't now (installs)...

Always park furtherest from door in supermarkets to hopefully avoid bad trolley drivers!
