Help please.

Do you know of any insurers who would insure an empty house please. It's about to go up for sale but we can visit the house weekly.

Hope someone replies.

Frizzell/LV says no by the way.

Is it a house you have already lived in or one you have inherited

    Hi,

There are are quite a few companies that offer unoccupied property insurance.

Try Vasek or Towergate, or contact a broker.

  • If its recently inherited as part of a Will the insurers who were covering the property will quite often keep the house on cover (sometimes reduced levels of cover) until that policy expires.

Thank you Stephen. The LLoyds policy has now expired and they are not now intersted in providing cover!!!
