The Arms??? Is that a special 'code name'? Where are those? I have got two, old but very flexible

Look at the very bottom of the forum index. The Moneysavers Arms is the general chat and discussion area, for all topics under the sun and not just moneysaving.

Oh you should be able to post in there since you are a registered user. I don't think there are any restrictions, unless rules have changed.

Bacchus 061, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

This comes up. No clue why this is as I seen posters with less posts on there in the past. Been lurking and biting the apple now:):)

Odd.

When you registered, did you get an email linky to validate your account? (I'm not sure if this would stop you from posting completely, or would just block you from the non-public areas such as DT)

Yep. I did and it keeps telling me that account has been activated. No clue why I cannot use the arms but reading some of the very tempting sounding threads, it may be a good thing :p:p

Looking at Quasar's and your post counts, I may be having a narrow escape:eek::eek::eek:

It's not just you. I can't post there either, same error as you (though with a different username ), and there's other threads reporting the same issue. Far as I can tell, it seems to be all of the Arms that's affected and nowhere else (though I've not checked every forum).

Seems I can't post with links either (as a 'new user') - see threads ...?t=2690779 and ...?t=2696379.
