Santander eSaver

Hi folks,

Does anyone know how you transfer funds out from a Santander eSaver account? I recently opened one of these and in the online banking, when attempting to make a payment out of this account, it tells me that it is not possible with this account.

I don't have any other Santander accounts so does this mean I have to go to a branch and withdraw cash if I want to move my money?

Thanks.

I've also found it difficult to withdraw money from one of their ISAs (I forget the specific 'flavour' of account), as there seems to be no option to transfer money electronically.

I do have a DD linking my current account to the ISA, but this only seems to go from my current account to the ISA and not the other way round. Which is a nuisance, as two way DD use is how I get money out of all my other savings products...

Yes of course you can withdraw from your Santander e-savings account - I have one too. You have to set up on -line the account you want it paying in to. This can be any other Bank or Building Society.

What tab/menu? Because I've looked on my ISA multiple times and failed to find anything :o

I had this problem too - had to phone up, and they set up a "bill payment" to my current account, which allows me to transfer money out. Couldn't find any way to do this online - bit odd.

I have an e-saver account not an ISA with Santander but the way to withdraw from your account may be the same.
Log in to your account and on the left is a list of options. Select "Move money" if you have already registered another account with them.
If you have not already done this (it may be the account that youy originally transferred money from into your Santander a/c) then select "Set up new payment" and follow the instructions.

Hope this helps if not you will have to call them for advice.
