In my case it could make 'a happy man very old'I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

and don't you men know that satin shows every bump and curve. great if you only have curves, bad if you also have bumps. And also note (men) this convo genuinely had by ourselves 10 years ago (when I was his GF, presented with a much more expensive silk ensemble (similar to those exhibited) at Christmas (with his potential in laws looking on)).
me: "you have bought me a size 12, it won't fit, I am a 14 at best"
OH: (uncertainty in his voice) well I thought you might be a 12, you look a 12, I didn't want to buy you a 14 as I thought you would be insulted"
me (not wanting to sound ungrateful) "well I am sure I will squeeze into it somehow"
Dad (2 hours later in kitchen out of earshot of OH-to-be) "and what's he bought you that for, saucy bleeder"
Be warned men. It is a minefield. :rotfl:Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

Actually satin is very complimentary to women as it skims, much better than the faded saggy "I love my sleep" jammies :rotfl:
I want the chocolate one, I havent got that colour.
BTW men, only get red if your lady is dark haired and dont get the pink, it looks cheap beyond words. And make sure you check her other negligéés for her size

It doesn't help that the sizes are based on women's dimensions in the 1950's and the proportions are different to today's lady's. Added to the fact that it's not uncommon for a lady to take one size at one shop and different size at another.
Easy - ask the assistant for a gift receipt therefore price not revealed to your beloved(s) , so easy exchange . Pre Lord E , and ex boyfriend used to delight in buying size 10 everything for me (sadly last time I was size 10 was when I was 16 , 100 yrs ago) just so when I went to exchange I would know how much he had paid for it........sad.0 -
Got one in chocolate for OH for her birthday, along with some more of the 5 for a fiver knicks.
She's blonde so I think I chose the right colour, certainly red or pink would have been a no no.
