That's right-click on a blank bit of the desktop, choose Properties, then the Settings tab - the resolution slider thingy is at the bottom right.0

If you've just started using a new monitor, would try shutting the PC down then starting again to check the settings hold. I had a bit of a battle recently with a 19" LCD - WinME didn't recognise it so insisted on installing the default monitor which is 16 bit colour at 640x320 and did this at every re-boot. There is a fairly simple cure though - get back to us if yours starts doing this.0
