I am setting up a web site for the village I live in and want a forum on it.
Can anyone recommend a free but good forum package I can use?

    Forumotion.com is good if you dont have a host and want a forum style website.

    lol, we do that too! :beer:
    However we have lots families with young kids that dont make it to the pub so am planning to use it like a noticeboard :D

    If you've got children using it you'll need to spend a lot of time moderating it. It doesn't take spambots long to find forums and a lot of the stuff they post is not the sort of thing that parents will want their kiddywinks to be clicking through to.
