Options
Hi all.
I have a small drive and would like this re laid in block paving as it is old and sinking .I park my car on this drive every day i would also like the side of my bungalow paved also in block paving. in total the area is 72 metres square.
Before i get a quote or two has anyone any idea what price i should be looking at. I don't want the top of the range blocks just a good job and so it looks tidy relay.

Thanks all.

You should be looking at about £4250 - £5000. Block paving is normally in the region of £60 - £65 per m2 all depending what block you choose. Edgings, walls, turf, beds etc will all be extra but this should give you an idea of price

Thanks Guys. Getting three quotes this week so I'll let you know
  • Got three quotes this week cheapest £3998 middle £4500 top £4800 if paid in full in cash.mmm.

We went for the cheapest not because they were cheapest but because we have seen previous work by them. The man who came down actually said we will not be the cheapest but the best. And so were quite surprised when their quote came through. very professional looking quote on headed paper. They don't want a penny not even a deposit until within 2 weeks after the job is completed.

The middle quote. Well they said they will fit us in between jobs. They are currently working a street away from us and have been there about 2 months. We don't realy want that we want them in and gone.

The top quote was sent on a bit of rough paper. Anouth said i think.
