I was always brought up to be honest and tell the truth and my dad always says if you tell the truth you haven't got to worry about anything but reading some of the replies to my querry makes me really worried as im a born worrier anyway, I have just rang him and explained the importance of all of this and he said he will write a letter or ring them for me giving his address where he is at the moment (until we sort out whats happening with this house,,, looks like the for sale sign) and explain everything to the ctc and change all the address details with bank and loan ect if that helps but he said it's still half his house and cant see what the problem is,,,,, grrr he is really bugging me now.

yes bestpud, I had voting papers a few years ago for the both of us and rang the council to remove him and I also told him this and he said it was ok. He was still able to obtain credit for our eldest daughters car last year though as I couldn't. Im not sure about his employer, but im pretty sure he can show tesco on his bank statements as I bumped into him down there a few weeks ago, he was getting supplies for the world cup.
