b and q self build conservatory

has anyone ever done one of these?

how was it?

do you need to purchase the special base, or would concrete foundations be ok?

Hi,

We have done one of these (when I say we I mean my hubby and father in law) and they found it easy enough, although they are both very handy. We did get the easy build one though. They put in proper foundations first, which was the most time consuming bit, but overall there were not any problems and it looked brilliant. Saved a fortune

we were in our local b and q and spotted the sign for the easy build conservatory - which stated 'buy me for £2k' we were all set to go to the checkout for it, until i enquired about something and the girl then mentioned that ithe base would be an extra £1500!!

that's why i was just checking if the base was required, or not.
