anyone know where to sell old records please

sorry just looked through the list no rem ones , but yes please to the facebook links. x, voyager, i was hoping some one local could pick them up or i could drop them if they are close, to be honest im not too fussed about making money from them ive told the kids whatever they make i they can have it for thier penny jars, i just want someone who actually has an interest in records to have some use from them. thanks for replying though.xnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0

i know a few record dealers who the vinyl fairs if you would like their facebook page i would gladly pass you it....
my daughter is desperate for a rem vinyl if you come across it i will buy it off you - CHRONIC TOWN - would love to get it for xmas for her but still no luck....

OP, Music and Video Exchange have several branches in London. I havent been for a while but they would usually take pretty much anything. The main branch is in Notting Hill Gate about 1min from the tube station. The site I linked above is quite good for comparing prices, it might be worth doing a sift to see if you have anything particularly rare.

robertr - i signed up to that site ages ago and meant to keep a watch but forgot - just looked and found and ordered one - thanks so much.........its the 1982 version too so the rare one........owe you big time - my daughter will be chuffed.........

I've found boot sales to be good places to sell records. You do have to make sure you've checked out values first though if you've got anything decent in there.0

Oxfam also still sell vinyl (in their book shops). I took a couple of boxes of LPs to them recently.
Did the same with some books a while back, and received a letter saying that they had made over £50 from them.
