    To take pics simply for ebay then a very low end camera will suffice, just go for a 1-2 megapixel camera, take at medium resolution. Dont need any kind of optical zoom or digital zoom. A handy little tripod would be good to. Most camera can connect to PC these days, so se camera on tripod and connect to PC and take ur pics that way.

    Heck you could take ur pics with a decent web cam

    most pics viewed online are only 72 dpi which is the lowest res u need for viewable pics.
