I have kust come off the phone with T-mobile, and I and fuming!!
In May, I wanted to cancel my daughters 30 day rolling contract. So I wrote to them to this effect. In June I cancelled the DD.
Then I started getting letters saying that I owed them. In the end I wrote again stating that I had asked them to cancel, and that they should do so with immediate effect (2/08/10). I also, at this point sent them a cheque for what they sif I owed (I have not used the sim card since MAy).
cheque was duly cashed,so I know they got my letter.
Then today I got a letter from them saying I owed ANOTHER £10 and that my acount was suspended. On top of that I was being referred to a credit agency!!! (I have kept my credit records so,socarefully too).
I rang today, and was told by T-Mobile that I could not cancel by letter, and I had to phone up!! Surely this cannot be right? And even if it is, why did they not let me know, they knew I was trying to cancel.
They will only cancel it now from 25/09/10, and then I will owe them even more! I feel so bullied. It's legal mugging,
I asked if I could speak to the Complaints/Customer Services Dept, and that was also a NO, you have to email them!! Unbelievable.
Anyway, surely if I write to ask to terminate my accountin writing, they can't just ignore it?
Rant over, thanks for listening.

What address did you send the letter to?
The email address for customer relations is cust.rel@t-mobile.co.uk you cannot speak to them on the phone as they have limited staff and if they where available on the phone directly everyone would just contact them instead of normal customer services.
I suggest emailing them they are actually really good at sorting out issues.0
