Its odd that the alcohol contain is different on different labels - I suppose some Cats P** is stronger than others!

Is this the low alcohol one? Anyone know the percentage?

............lol, and I was told by CS that these were actually 3/4 litre bottles.

Seriously though, they were exactly as OP stated on my bottles (750ml), and 8.5% as also mentioned - strange some say 12%??
I think this is just a glitch on this item as the lower strength ones (normally £5.99) are advertised at 3 for £10.
Not worth £10.99 as they are sometimes available for £5.99 anyway when they have a promotion on. But at just over £3.16 a bottle when buying 6 it's worth it. A nice little pressie combined with a box of chocolates/flowers etc.

    I don't know... Tut tut!

    RIGHT !!!

I bought 12 bottles (of the RIGHT STUFF) earlier this afternoon - for just £34.99 :)

    12 x £10.99 = £131.88
    4 x 3 for £10 - save £91.88
    Buy 6 or more - save £2.01

    Total £37.99

Used a £3 OFF £30 Till Spit that I got a few days ago which expired tomorrow - GOOD NEWS - Got an immediate £3 OFF £30 Till Spit to replace it - expires in a week or so.

    ANYWAY - The RIGHT STUFF - 12% - PINOT GRIGIO - SPARKLING

To all the :rotfl: EEEEEDDYYOTTTSSSS :rotfl: that bought the WRONG STUFF

ON THE SAME SHELF - 3 wines - ALL First Cape

SPARKLER BRUT - 8.5% (couldn't find it online) but looks like ...
    fc_s_fs_brut_spark.jpg

    SPARKLING WHITE WINE - 5.5% - Item code: 7257975 - £5.99

    All 3 for £10 - All DIFFERENT BARCODES ...

BUT, what you are looking for is clear in this photo

Says PINOT GRIGIO ON THE LABEL (ignore 1/2 price & chocolates - was a Valentine promo)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Well done quoia, that clears things up and looks like it was a glitch on all sparkling First Cape wine. There was none of the 12% stuff at my store - probably down to those buying 12 bottles at a time. :D

I wish I had though of the £3 off £30, missed out on that..........

.................and the extra 3.5% strenghth. :rotfl:

But well done for your initiative.

Drank a bottle of this last night with friends and it's nothing great but we all enjoyed it well enough.

I also picked up another 3 yesterday, different branch but again no label on the shelf and it was mixed up with the 8.5% sparkler. These ones had a sticker added to the back label of the bottle saying "aerated sparkling wine obtained by the addition of carbon dioxide" - never seen that on a bottle of wine before!

These are actually 0.75l bottles
    Ooooh sorry, my mistake :rotfl:
  • Picked x3 up yesterday - great find.
  • Great bargain thanks.

Also think someone should point out that 75 cl, 750ml and 0.75 litres are all the same thing (a ml is 1,000th of a litre, a cl is a 100th of a litre) but alcohol is typically measured in cl although sometimes in ml or l.

So HelenP was spot on. Thanks hun :)

    No really ?? :rotfl:

Actually ALCOHOL is measured in %vol = Percentage by Volume - sometimes displayed with the letters ABV (Alcohol By Volume)

    OR

    in (°) DEGREES PROOF

Glad nobody mentioned CCs (Cubic Centimetres) in the same volume context :)
