These are actually 0.75l bottles

............lol, and I was told by CS that these were actually 3/4 litre bottles.
Seriously though, they were exactly as OP stated on my bottles (750ml), and 8.5% as also mentioned - strange some say 12%??
I think this is just a glitch on this item as the lower strength ones (normally £5.99) are advertised at 3 for £10.
Not worth £10.99 as they are sometimes available for £5.99 anyway when they have a promotion on. But at just over £3.16 a bottle when buying 6 it's worth it. A nice little pressie combined with a box of chocolates/flowers etc.

Helenp joins the forum, makes a perfectly good (bargain) first post, which so far has got 16 thanks, but we have to have the smart-asses making silly comments about the wine, which they probably have never even tasted.
Let`s not make this forum like the "hotukdeals" forum where whatever is posted is immediately slagged off regardless.0 -

Mine was a serious question - the value of a wine depends mainly on its taste, so has anyone tried this stuff yet?
Is it for drinking or for cleaning brushes?0 -

I can definitely see the serious side of that then. :rotfl::rotfl:
My serious question - has anyone ever tried to clean brushes using wine??

Went to Sainsbury's today but didn't find the wine in the OP's post (didn't have long and admittedly I was looking for the 3 for £10 sign which I now realise the OP said was missing). Anyway, instead I got 3 bottles of Latitude 35* South Chardonnay-Semillion which is normally £7.99 per bottle, so 3 for £10 is a good deal. I actually like it and would buy it anyway.

I managed to find this earlier today, and in the interest of other people on here popped a bottle straight into the fridge when I got home - just so I could feed back on what it is like you understand
Mine is 750ml First Cape sparkling Pnot Grigio - 12%, no label on the shelf at all but took to CS and it scanned at 3 for £10
I am by no means a wine expert - I know what I like and to be honest I have tried better Cavas. But at £3.33 a bottle it is drinkable - wouldn't waste it on the paintbrushes but would only buy it again if it was on a 3 for £10 offer.
As an earlier poster said at that priceit is also a good one to put away for presies/school tombola/raffle prizes and the like.0 -
I'm a tad fussy about my Pinot so I'll give this a miss. But no offence meant to Helenp
