need software for panasonic-GS50 camcorder to use with computer please help

hi all, i bought this camcorder quite a few yrs ago (many moons lol) and i have not got the dic it came with, i have googled but i cant seem to find a link to download the software so i can run it through my laptop, could somebody please help as i have no idea what to do . x thankyou

You don't need any software.
Connect the camcorder to your PC using a Firewire/IEE1394 lead.
If you have XP Vista Windows 7 you can edit with Moviemaker (facilities better with Vista and Win 7).That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

OK, What is your operating system?
The next thing is whether your laptop has a Firewire port, some but not all do.
