yebaws wrote:If you want cheap new dect phones, ebay is the place look. Don't know where they all come from but they're new & cheap. I've bought several as the average life of one of these phones seems to be about 2 years. Last (single) one I bought was a BT studio 1500 dect with answerphone for £7 delivered..
They tend to be cataloge returns and end of lines. If you search Google for ex-cataloge wholesalers, you can buy the phones for around £3 each. The downside is that you have to buy a whole pallet of them.0 -

Have you tried BT Shop's Price Promise?
If you can find any BT branded item offered for a lower price (excl. delivery charges) within 7 days of purchase, then BT will refund Double The Difference - this will come in the form of a voucher to be spent in any BT Shop.
A cheaper alternative is:
http://www.xfast.co.uk/index.php?mod=catalogue&func=view&productID=FREESTYLE3200QUAD&catalogue_key=BM
The difference is: £99.99-£64.27 = £35.72
Double The Difference = £71.44
Worth a shot if you can't get a refund any other way?No links in signatures please.0 -

Fortunately you're not the only person on this forum. It might be of interest to others following this thread and finding the original the original item is sold out.
Obviously I should have clicked "reply" instead of "quote" so as not to offend you. There's no need to be so coarse 'though.0 -

Well I have to say we are very pleased with ours BUT I don't like the ringing tones!!! Still can't have it always. I'm changing the tone every day to see which one out of five is the best.0

Currently still in stock
Also noticed that Viking are currently offering the BT 1100 quad for £39.99 (+VAT) http://www.viking-direct.co.uk/catalog/catalogSku.do;jsessionid=0000n2EVjhyAt1NbC58SCsZeYE3:11g06oin9?id=STUDIO1104&pr=Y29 though me thinks they aren't as good. Though there are always plenty of freebee with viking. I have codes, but I can' t post them - but they aren't hard to find. There is no intelligent life out there ... ask any goldfish!0 -
Just one question: Are they quite loud both on normal speaker and on loudspeaker0

I was suprised how clear and loud it is on loudspeaker.
You can increase the volume whilst on the phone by pressing the arrow key on the phone itself.
The only thing I find is the tunes are not very loud except the rings, they are loud.0
