Toshiba 36ZP 48P Television - AV's - Picture but No Sound

Hi there.

I have a Toshiba 36ZP 48P Television passed to me by my parents for my new home. I will be linking up a Sky HD Box (not using HD as TV not capable but using the scart lead), a dvd player and a video recorder.

All will be connected using the three scart sockets on the rear.

I can get sound and picture on AV1 for any of the devices listed, but when using AV2 or AV3 I get a picture but no sound.

My father seens to recall an 'after market' lead to connect the DA1 and DA2 connectors on the rear which resolved the issue before.

Please can anyone help?
