Did something significant change their a few years ago (apart from the name?)

We had good service from Aviva around 2005 when they refuted a personal injury claim and stood their ground.
  • They closed a number of service centres as a cost cutting excersise

The "Aviva Way" of saving money is to make redundant the most experienced / well paid staff (Excluding senior management), they have been doing this for about ten years. They are now left with loads of senior management who are virtually all graduate recruits so like to have "Blue sky" meetings to dream up the latest management speak eg bleeding edge instead of plain old boring cutting edge.

So they are now left with marketing staff who think it's a great idea to leave unlocked bikes in London to show they will [STRIKE]not[/STRIKE] get stolen and people on the front line who they pay peanuts to.

From all the bad press they get, I've never had an issue with them since taking my policy out

Haven't made a claim yet and, perhaps they may be dreadful then but the customer service side has always been really good

So at this point in time, I can't slate them too much
  • Pointless name change and instead of dumping Asprea they take them in house. A saboteur couldn't have done a better job.

You will find out if and when you need to make a claim.
