Tesco /cresta clubcard mess up!!!

Options
Not sure if this is in right place but had on reserve for feb half term a 3 night trip to eurodisney for the 4 of us staying at the sequia lodge. When I got the quote I stated clearly that I wanted to use my Tesco vouchers and I had never done this before so could they advise me. They quoted £1104 all in and we had vouchers worth £850.00 when converted. :j So had £254.00 to pay. Happily sent off vouchers recorded delivery and when they arrived back phoned cresta to give them the codes to book the holiday that was on reserve and said to the girl who had quoted me that with my vouchers was a letter clearly stating that the holiday MUST be for minimum 4 nights!!!, but my booking was for 3. Girl went very quiet then went oh - yeah- we can't book it then!! Spoke to supervisor who backed up " no sorry we can't book it for less than 4 days - girl admitted she forgot" . Said they could quote for extra day but we can't afford to pay anymore and we did consider other hotels that are further out the park like the explorers but thought that as its half term the shuttle bus would be packed and we have a 3 yr old so didn't want to walk further than necessary!! Anyway spoke to clubcard who said cresta made the rules of 4 nights (not tesco as I'd been informed by cresta !) and they should honour the booking, but spoke to cresta again and they won't budge! And the best bit is as cresta/bridge are stopping bookings from 31/10/06 if i don't send the vouchers back in time they will be worthless!!!!!!!!!
Please can anyone advise me !!!!

    this isn't a misprice...

Batty - send them back get them converted back to credit asap, you don't want to lose those vouchers! You can always change them back next statement. Unfortunately they're a pain in the bottom sometimes (the holiday people) :(

Probably better off selling them and booking through someone cheaper with the money you make
  • I think there were some posts about the con of cresta holidays combined with clubcard vouchers, that the holidays costs half the price quoted when not using the vouchers and that sometimes the holidays can be cheaper elsewhere.

Why dont you try the leger holiday option instead??

I am under the impression that this is only for coach holidays, which we don't want to do - but thanks anyway!!!!

Is the quote that they have given you for 4 nights? If not then why is their system letting them book for less? If it is for 4 nights at the price you were quoted and you are happy with that could you not check out a day earlier? Or are the flights and everything with them?

No, the quote was for 3 nights and the problem is that the minimum booking is 4 nights which I wasn't told until after converting my vouchers!!!
