TD Waterhouse price increase

I have just recieved an email telling me about TD Waterhouse's price increase.

The standard rate is now £12.50!!

I was a HoodlessBrennan user that migrated over to TD Waterhouse when Hoodless stopped this part of thier business.

Does anyone have a new best deal for sharetrading?

The 2 cheapest often recommended ones are:
X-O - if you want real time trading
iii Portfolio Builder - even cheaper if you can do without real time trades

Moneysupermarket have a tool that lets you key in how many trades you a do a year and your average trade price that then ranks the best deals for your trading.

I'm not sure if their figures are totally up to date but it might be a useful starting point.

My problem too. But I don't trade regularly and so I am charged a Quarterly fee of £10, I am looking for somewhere that doesn't charge.
