Used car purchase & 61 plate

Hi all,
I am ready to purchase a used car, an Audi A4 2 years old (08 plate).
However I'm unsure whether to go ahead and buy now or wait until after next week when the new registration comes out (61 plate I think).
Obviously older cars will depreciate more with each new registration but by how much ? and how long does this change take to filter through ?
Should I just buy now, or would waiting a couple more weeks really make a worthy difference to prices ?

It is 60 plate, and it really will not make any significant difference to the price of an 08 car.0 -

What about a 59 plate car? Would that show a big drop?Tough times never last longer than tough people.0 -

They will drop about the same in 6 months time when the next new reg comes out. And they too will drop again in 6 months time, so you could wait til then to buy one. Or even batter, wait until a 62 plate comes out and buy a 10 plate as that will be cheaper too lol.0
