Hi
my mum is ringing me up as she has a virus. It's called AntiMalware pro. It stop virus scanners like AVG running and is trying to get her buy new virus software. As I can't get to her computer it is very difficult to know how to remove this. Has anyone experienced this or able to tell me how to remove this please

Save http://dl.surfright.nl/HitmanPro35.exe to desktop
Then Hold down the left CTRL-key when you start Hitman Pro and all non-essential processes are terminated, including the malware process.0 -

....ho hum another AVG user with a virus.....
probably if she had an antivirus program that wasn't a largely useless piece of junk in the first place she'd not get these viruses, suggest she switch to one of the reliable (free) antiviruses asap!
eg Avira, Avast or Microsoft Security Essentials
on the plus side stopping AVG running probably doesn't make much difference to the level of antivirus protection a PC with AVG on didn't have
