  • Evening all,

Please can I ask a question - I am using the pee sticks for ovulation (sorry not sure of the proper name). I have a very strong line in the control section and a faint line in the result section - I didn't take temp whilst on AF because I have been busy gardening so I have started again today ... does the faint line mean a darker one may appear a bit later on (maybe a day or two).

TIA as this is my first time of using the sticks.

Fingers crossed for more BPF this month!!

    Did DH email back?
Just goes to show there's not much point in SSing ;)

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Nice idea ;)

Thanks for all the messages. Don't think it will sink in for a while though. I phoned my DH to say that I emailed him and to ring me straight back, lol. Think he's quietly chuffed (he's a man of few words, lol)

it can do, i tend to get faint lines then dark there is no strengthening of the line at all.

BB I might test friday if I make it that far I have short LP of 12 days, and if I ov'd on cd13 I'm due on thursday....

weird burning pains are now back??? does anyone else wish you could just somehow know straight away???

For it to be positive both lines would need to be the same.

I've only done 6 of these tests myself (and had 1 positive) but for me there's no pattern. Somtimes the test line is quite prominent (but fainter than the control line) other times there is no line or a very faint line.

Not sure what others experience though.

vesper - I'd say it's worth going to the docs, they may or not help right now but at least it'll be on your record and you can discuss possible reasons/options.
I agree. (I was thinking the same thing but hadn't worked out how to put it into a coherent sentence.)

Huge congrats kimmy marky! Lovely news!

I'm 14dpo and had bfn on ic today so its not looking good this cycle. Temps not done over weekend as I was away. Usually only have 12 day lp so not sure what's going on ! Waiting for witch now. :(
I was wondering about you cos I saw you were around newyearnewstart's DPO...I thought the chart still looked fairly positive...? PMA :)

well I am now Cd59 (feels like cd 50 million though) seems soooo long since my last AF. Still not sure what is going on, I did another test last week and it was a BFN and I have never ever been this late, a few days yes but not nigh on 4 weeks! My question is how do you know if its just my body being a pain in the bum or if a trip to the doctors is required?.
Honestly, I never know lol. I tend to see my GP pretty often anyway, cos of the nature of my conditions, so I tend to just ask about whatever's going on with me at that time...sorry that's no help whatsoever! :p:o
Do you normally have regular periods? I would say if this is a one off then it's usually nothing to worry about, but if it's part of a quite irregular pattern it's deffo worth checking out :)

Yep. But then I also think that it would be an even longer wait to the 12wk mark/scan, and from the <12wk thread, that seems like not such a good thing! :o

Don't look now, but I *think* I *may* have ov'd yesterday... I hope so, cos BDing would've been well timed (coincidence!) and it would mean I wouldn't get to CD70 again! :o Maybe that Metformin is actually working...

Morning all, another lovely day here but definitely chillier!

I'm one of those lucky people that has the 3 days off this week, so I'm home alone with a project to sort out the front garden (which is, frankly, an embarrassment!) So if you see me on here too much, tell me to b*gger off back to the garden and stop skiving! :D

Tinks - my cycle is completely all over the place, and the only LP I have reasonable certainty over the length of was 12 days....however, I thought I'd try to hold off until Friday so that I'd be more sure of an accurate test result... Would be nice to have a royal BFP! :rotfl:

Slept like a log until 5am, when I woke absolutely BOILING! didn't move at all though and dozed straight off again to the sound of the dawn chorus, which was lovely :) Temped at 6.30 and my temp is still up (although down compared to yesterday).

bigzippy - hope you have ov'd and that BD was spot on! Good point re the 12wk wait.... I'm not sure I'll ever join the <12wks thread as I think it would freak me out and make me far too anxious! I'll just stay here :D

RIGHT must go and do something useful - my weeds await me!

    Have a good day everyone,

    BB x

Ooh - lots of DPO buddies :D Hope your sore b00bs is a good sign

I did another test this morning and BFN. I really don't think I've done it this cycle... My LP is short so, I would have expected at least a tlp by today and nothing. I'm gutted but, I know I need to keep positive. Onwards and upwards, as they say! :o

    Morning Ladies,

Trying to catch up here. Had a fabulous weekend. In fact, a perfect weekend and am now knackered and wishing I had another day off to sleep! lol.

Big hugs to all who need them ((HUGS)) and HUGE congratulations to any BFP's I have missed. I'm keeping my fingers and toes firmly crossed for everyone else, and wishing QQ the best of luck for this week!

Me, well I forgot to temp whilst I was away, but had some ov type pains on Friday and Saturday, followed by sore bo obs from Sunday onwards, so pretty sure I ov'd either Friday or Saturday (not sure which). I did temp this morning, but I'm not sure it's a good accurate reading really as we now have the airco on in the bedroom (otherwise it's unbearably hot in our apartment). Oh well, we'll see.

    Have a good day all!

    xx
