hugs rebekah, my DH has IBS and he uses Buscopan when it gets really bad. Have you tried an elimination diet to see what makes it flare up? With my DH it seems to be worsened by beer and also milk... A friend of mine also has it, much worse, and she can't eat anything with wheat in.

CD25 and my temp has dropped a bit. I'm really hoping now that I haven't already ov'd... :o It kinda looks like my temps never got high enough to have ov'd...they didn't get above where I think my cover line should be. Maybe I do just have long cycles...so if last month was anything to go by, I've still got another week til ov...! That'll be right around the day of my big exam thingy...hope I'm in the mood! :o

Went to zumba this morning for the first time ever...it was ok but it was a bit dance-y for me...I'm not the most coordinated of people! I just feel really self-conscious doing that sort of thing. Good for BD-ing though, I imagine - lots of hip action! ;)

Have had a massive meat craving so we are having steak for dinner, nom nom :D

No diet yet. That's my next step. I don't know where to begin though! Cutting things out my diet isn't a good plan when I should be getting my body ready for baby making mind.

its not a diet as such just elimination and if you are taking pre cooncieve or pregnacare you will be getting all the vitamins you need anyway. my ibs is affected by beer/lager and if i eat lots of carbs within a few days ie potatoes , bread, pasta.

i started by keeping a food diary and also noting down when the ibs plays up then after several weeks you should see a pattern of when you eat a certain food it sets it off, so you eleminate that food product and see what happens for a bit, as long as you note down everything eventually you will see a pattern, it took me several months of cutting things out and re intro ducing things. good luck hun i know how you feel but i stopped taking my medication now around 2 yrs ago and have had maybe around 3 flares ups but that when ive been out with the girls drinking lots of alcahol lol
now proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j

Hello . . . . . Well not been about much on this thread - Have had a lot of problems just recently - you may remember i was asking about having my sister in laws child (theres a thread about this now) ANYWAY, I've decided against having the child now.

Me and OH realised its been 3 whole flipping week's since we've erm . . . AHEM

How did 3 weeks slip by so fast?!

Well, at least we wont be having a baby at christmas!

I had an unexpeced witch week last week (a week early!) but hopefully i'll be back to normal (or even more hopefully not have any at all because i'll be pregnant!) soon.

For those of you with children - Happy Mother's Day, For those of you without, I hope this is the last one you'll have that you cant celebrate (does that even make sense?!)

    xx

    Fingers crossed for Sunday:)

Thanks :D So far so good, no sign of AF, although I have had a hoooooge craving for chocolate the past few days, I'm getting me words jumbled when I'm talking, bo obs are getting sore and I've had crampy feelings - all AF signs :(

I've had a lovely day though, went to Maccy D's for brekkie with DH, then cleaned the house, then my Mam brought my niece's to visit with some chocolate muffin's for Auntie's Day, and we've sat in the garden most of the afternoon, then had a lovely play out on the field with my sister's dog who we're looking after for 9 days. I'll miss him when he goes home on Tuesday :(
