Thats good news Penny TLP ...
My mum is the same - she has said when I do finally get pregnant not to be telling anyone til i'm 3 months? My problem is I am too organised and would love the planning what I need and things
Is it clear blue that tell you how far gone you are? The digital one should be ok (IMO - I could be wrong)

good morning ladies.....Help. I have a faint positive on cheapy  and tesco own brand  preg tests. Ive saved my little pot of wee, can i use it when i get back from shops (lunch time) with a digital test or should i wait til tomoz morning and use 'fresh'?
It is a faint line but on the box it says that it doesnt have to be the same colour as the control line
Hubby still in bed asleep.
I had a chat with my mum last night i told her i was late and about my temps. For some reason she wasnt impressed with the temping she said it was cold and clinical. My mum is a very practical and organised woman, i thought she would react a different way. Bit disappointed, i might save this news for just me and hubby (and the whole internet world!) for a while because i then had the whole 'not in my day...had to take samples to the chemist' stories and how you had to be nearly giving birth before it was confirmed. Im exagerating a little but just dissapointed in mums reaction, hubby thought the same he thought she would have been excited like us.
So...help do i save my pot or brew fresh in the morning:)
Woop woop! :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j Congratulations penny, sounds like a BFP to me - a line is a line, and particularly when you've got 2 of them!
Don't know what to say re your mum, maybe she was just in shock - my mum sometimes splurts out stupid stuff she doesn't mean when she doesn't know how else to react. (especially if she's actually really quite emotional about something!)Hubby still asleep! *sending mind bomb alarm clocks upstairs*
Penny
Go wake him up by wafting a pee stick in front of his face...! :rotfl: (sorry, I'm in a childish mood this morning!)CD17 low on CBFM again:(, but the estrogen is getting stronger, and IC OPKs are showing stronger line, not + but seems to be gearing up.
I don't think I'll be oving tomorrow like the doc said, more like Wednesday.
Was going to BD late afternoon before DH departs, but he was in the mood this morning, right after brekkie, so I went along with it:p
Didn't have time to use Preseed though, but put my legs on the wall afterwards to let the swimmers swim down the right way:cool: (1st time for me, don't really believe on swimmers and gravity but worth a try).
He's coming back late on Tuesday (flight arriving at 12am, so getting home at 1am Wed morning), but he said he'll try again then if no ov.
Fingers crossed I'll ov Wed:o
Well that all sounds quite positive, doesn't it? If you don't ov til wednesday, then that's perfect as you'll have had 2 bites of the apple (as it were...) Get all "ready" for him when he gets home on Tues night, and jump him as soon as he walks through the door!
CD19 for me, and a slight temp rise after my drastic dip yesterday - I'm still lower than my average though. More EWCM today, so I think ov is imminent for sure. DH home early evening today and he has already told me to be ready and waiting for him... I'm really glad I've been temping this month, feel a lot more in control yet no obsessing, which is good. Maybe because my big exam/interview is in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS    so I've got other things to worry about!
Another day of work today, but will head off to the gym after lunch (my least productive work time!) as my legs are starting to recover now... Then got a yum dinner planned for when DH gets home (after BD-ing, of course!)
Hope you all have a good day - and Penny, make sure you let us know what the digi says!

My mum doesn't know we're trying, and I have no intention of telling her - or anyone else apart from one friend who guessed - until I'm actually pregnant.
And then DH and I have decided not to tell anyone, even our parents, until the 12 week scan, if possible. Partly because we're aware that so much can go wrong, partly because they'll all get hysterical about it and the longer we can put that off the better, and mainly because we quite like the idea of having a secret just between the two of us for a little while
Having said that, I too love planning and organising, so would have to go to all the baby shops and hope that noone spots me!

Woop woop Penny1981!!
Well I have woken up and my boobs are killing me - they are so heavy and my nipples are like saucers! My period has gone gone from dark brown to light salmon pink colour again? It's probably just my period and getting worse as I'm getting older. My AS has come 4 days earlier than usual this month - don't think that means anything really but I am really suffering with my chest area this month!
Hope everyone is well and happy

Morning ladies, congrats Penny on you TLP!!
No AF here, would have normally been due yesterday but as last month I was a week and 3 days late I am refusing to test until I am past there!!
Does any one have a linky to a list of which tests are the most sensetive? I have a first response one but can't find any details on the package or leaflet of the sensetivity. I seem to buy the ones with no details like that in the package or do they just not want us to know??You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0 -
Hi all
Woohoo Penny, that def sounds like a BFP :j:j

Well...we went to farmers market....but your not interested in that are you?
I left the 2 tests in the bathroom, hubby got up and went straight down stairs (who on the planet doesnt go to the loo first?) Started watching the GP on tele!! I made him go and get a shower...nothing, he did that ironed his clothes...nothing, brushed his teeth...still nothing ! I told him it was like birthdays and christmas (Hes very reserved and doesnt get too excited then either) then the penny dropped :T. He is really chuffed, then started paniking about decorating the spare room (Currently a storage/junk room:eek:)
I've done a clear blue test and says im pregnant 2-3 weeks :T, unsure if i need to keep the test to show the doc? (booked in on Thursday for other ailments)
Were going to keep it between just me and hubby (and you lovely lot)as long as possible after last nights reactions.
Thank you for the well wishes, i think they worked xxx
So do i get kicked off here now, your all really nice and supportive, or do i stay til 12 weeks?
Penny
