  • Congrats Cleomolly!!! :)
I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

Trying to find a work life balance...:rotfl:
  • Congratulations Cleomolly, hope there'll be plenty of others joining you in December!

It's amazing how quickly this TTC lark sends you round the twist! I'm only on my first month of ttc and it's already sending me daft. I'm on day 21 of a 32 day cycle, following the sperm meets egg plan, so have been using OPKs since day 12 and still haven't had a positive result. Is it possible to miss the 'surge' even though you're testing every day? I'm sure I could see 2 faint lines on CDs 15 and 16, then nothing at all 'til today when I can see the ghost of a pink line.. confused!

I've been using OPKs for the last 2 months and have never had a positive, even though I'm certain I OVd both months  it messes with my head!! If I'm not lucky this month I won't bother getting any more, they stress me out too much.

CD21 for me and not much to report, fairly sure I OVd late last week. Now waiting not-so-patiently (ie, wishing my life away:o)

I am now half way thru the 2 week wait, AF due next thurs!! so realisticly how soon can i test? and which tests to use!please!!

i remember seeing a pic of tests laid on the table with dates (7dpo etc) written on them but cant find the post now!!

    Thanks

  • Some advice please?

Came off the pill on 10th November, period arrived yesterday (hadnt had any while taking the pill) so it was actuallya relief that I'd not totally screwed up my body with it!

now need to get into the serious business of baby making... but without losing the spontinaity/fun etc .....I've seen references to tracking ovulation but have no idea how to do it!

Any advice appreciated (am embarrassed at my naivety!!)

I do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.

I love to live & live to love.
    Good enough is exactly that.

QQ... Hope to think it was spotting but it was a fair amount of bleeding!! Thought spotting was just an odd bit?
    Hmmm.... Fingers crossed anyway:o

It's possible to miss the surge, it can be a short spike, and to some, it never becomes stronger than the control line. One needs to find what's normal for you, and which OPKs works for you:o
Have had a shocking day at work (spent 5 minutes having a good cry in the loos this avo) and just want to know that something good is going to happen!

OH is mega supportive as always and has listened to me have a good moan but not home until tomorrow and just want a cuddle to make it all better again.

If you cold BD every other day, then it should cover the bases:cool:
Otherwise, look for ewcm, and/or get OPKs :)

You can test on the day you missed your AF (usually somewhere around 15DPO if you have 14 day luteal):)

Hi ladies, I would like to join you if possible.

I lurked for awhile as started ttc in august after being on pill for years. Had first af early september and nothing after as we were pregnant! But, sunday at 11+3 started bleeding and now I'm miscarrying. I'm still under epu and levels have now dropped to just over 4000. They think due to blighted ovum?

Feel rubbish, in pain, bleeding and plain gutted :( But, hoping 2011 will be a good year for us as well as you all on here.

Hope its ok to fill you all in, but I know you ladies are amazing and wondered if I could join you.

    Congratulations Cleomolly :j:j:j

Feanor my fingers are still crossed for you :)

    Same as she says!!!

Welcome to the newbies, I echo what others said about hoping you have short stays.:wave:

Thanks QQ - I'm pleased to be a cd day later than I realised - result! :D That will make my AF due on 11th Dec which would be my shortest cycle since July. I'm leaving myself a few days before the test date so I hopefully won't waste a test this month. QQ sorry your temp has dropped. :(

SS wise there's not much to report. Nips are sore (not bo o bs) but that seems to be normal for me. Nothing else apart from being really thirsty a ll the times. That's prob a reaction to the heating being on soooooo much. Had a sore throat for a day but that has passed now. I think pms symptoms but be pushing through too (not that I'd ever admit it outside of mse ;)

    Anyway, night night SBDTa x

It's definitely working - the less I'm thinking about it the quicker the time passes. I'm defo gonna try to keep this up :T
