This has been on my mind a little while, sorry if it seems out of tune, QQ, I know its not romantic, but have you tried the cap method? Either before, or after? Just got a feeling about it, and my premontions can be spooky!

Hi all - I'm now in the 2ww. Not very hopeful really as we've only bd'd once around the time I think I ov'd. How long after af is due do you ladies test?

The aim is not to test until at least day that af is due but if you can hold off to a couple of days after it can avoid the disappointment of a bfn as af can sometimes be late.

Ooo, I concur with this one. I tested at 8dpo... BFN and at 10dpo it cost me 4 tests to make it out properly. :D

I'm at 13DPO today which is the longest I have ever been....am praying the witch stays away so I keep this bean.

Sorry for posting on here but I can't leave you. Not yet. You've been there for me for 8 months. I look like the 3rd longest trier on page 1...so hopefully that gives you all some hope. I was convinced it wouldn't be this month....we didn't DTD on either of the peak days. My DH and I hadn't had nook-nook since 22nd to 17th Aug....he's a bit of a drinker (albeit wine not beer) and it's happened for me.

Never give up. Each time AF arrives, dust yourself down and think the countdown to next nook-nook OV time. I am an event planner naturally and in my career...you can never plan to get PG - it is in the hands of mother nature! If I could have planned conceiving this month I would have been a genius as it has worked out perfectly.

    SBDTA x

ps. let me know if I have over-stayed my welcome. I would hate to nark someone off but the ups and downs on here are part of me today x

BigSister2008, your SS sounds promising, but can you get pg with a pill? Good luck anyway, and hope the coming months pass quickly:)

pawpurrs, cap method? Do you mean inserting something like softcup after BD? I haven't tried it, but am interested:)

phunkles, I went to Prague in January last year, it was beautiful but amazingly cold:o
Have a great anniversary tomorrow, and get something better than crisps!:D

QQ Yes or you can take it further and insert sperm straight on to cervix with a syringe, and then insert a cap afterwards. It can really help you concieve if DH has bad swimmers, as it gets it all up there, sorry to bring it up, and I know its totally unromantic, but so can be ttc, if having to do it at right times etc. I know some people who have had great success with this with partners with low sperm count. YOu do it yourself so no cost and can be done at home. Loads of info on google.

My doctor suggested IUI (same thing, just more expensive).
May go for that next month:o
