Was good thanks, the staff weren't as pushy as they normally were in there. Nephews bear is a "chav" according to my OH cos nephew chose tracksuit and sketchers trainers for his bear...called....Chocolate Icecream Bar Milk Bear :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Glad you also got peaks and the necessary BD!

  • Evening ladies,

How has your Bonk Holiday been??? Its not a bank holiday up here in Scotland but I had the day off and DH and I went away for the day down to the coast!!!

On the hop we decided to go to Deep Sea World, it was a great experience, we had a lovely pic taken on the way in but its not on line yet so can't show you I'm afraid!!!

Part of the reason we went away today was I had a bit of a wobble last night feeling really upset I was questioning myself and whether I would be able to conceive. I guess because its nearly my time to test  I'm starting to get anxious on my own ability to have a child as I've said before this is my 1st time ever even thinking about having kids (I mean in a serious sense) I've been on the pill since I was 18 so there never was a chance because I made sure of that so now I panic about how fertile I actually am!!!!

Anyway being away really took my mind off it and as we travelled there just seeing the Scottish hills and masses of green land I had a lovely serene feeling wash over!!! I've decided that if we don't conceive this month, I'm gonna get my butt in gear get back to the gym and start eating healthy and properly again!!!! Lots of PMA going on now here!!!

Sorry for the longwinded message and thanx for reading!!! :)

Thanks for the kick up the bum :) I'm not good on the having patience and waiting for things front!

Had a look in two local Superdrug shops and no joy :( Although why I want one I have no idea, I think a CBFM would only serve to taunt me when I had peak days and no BD'ing.

Like it is me. Mines gone back in it's box - hubby says he wants kids but won't read any of the books or magazines or even talk about it. My app says Ill always ov on a Wednesday and as oh works away most weeks and is only a weekend bd'er then there's just no point tormenting myself :(

Glad you had a good time at the Deep Sea World.
We all ask the same question, will we ever be parents...:o

Blue monkey, 30 is most certainley not old, its very near the averrage age for a first time mother nowdays, which means theres a lot a lot older, including me!

Thanks. I worked with a woman a few years ago who was 32 and her and her husband just couldn't conceive. Both apparently fertile, just not 'matching up'. Last I heard she was on her 4th or 5th attempt at IVF, and had given up her job to try to reduce the stress in her life. I remember she said to me "Don't do what I did and put off having kids, the doctors told us that if we were perhaps a bit younger we might've been successful"...:o

Blue monkey are you wanting your name on the list? Enjoy Australia its a nice place to be for a couple of years, I have travelled extensiely, and its my passion, 30 is really not old, its the average age for a first born now, so that means theres a lot of people a lot older, including me!

Sure, I'll go on the list - I'll join Lemon Tree on the 12th of Never :) Had a funny weekend actually - there's me thinking that I could keep the broody-monster at bay, when bam - EWCM turned up for the first time :T and made me fall straight back into baby-wanting mode. I'd never had it before so was pleasantly surprised as was beginning to fear I didn't get it, but lo-and-behold, Saturday arvo in McDonalds loos there she was.... And my, it certainly is sticky;) So anyway, OH and I had another chat and have decided that once all our visitors have been and gone we will probably start trying for real - still 6 or so months away, but gives me time to start taking folic acid and become a svelte godess (just in time to ruin it all with baby fat :p).

    Morning Ladies

Wow lots of big congrats for all the BFPs!!!! :j:j:j

Well Im on CD23 and still no +opk...........give up!!! Feeling pretty meh about the whole thing! Whats the point in me even trying or allowing myself to believe it could ever happen. Sorry for the serious lack of pma girls. I told myself that this month we would do everything we possibly could to make it happen but CD23 and still nothing.............

So in general Im feeling horrible. Also not helped by the fact that I fell going up the stairs in Sunday and broke my baby finger :(

Hope you are all having a good day

    Linz xox
Its hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........

People tell me Im going the wrong way..............when its simply a way of my own!
