Thanks gurlz. I am going to see how the day pans out for him. I might let him enjoy the buzz of the carnival and wait til he's finished playing...if I can hold out that long. It still hasn't sunk in. I think I am apprehensive because of the bleeding I have already but that seems to be stopping like it does just before AF. My due date was Tuesday for AF...not being a bit thick here but because of HCG will it stay away now? And to think my LP was b@lloxed up too so if this beans a sticker, it just goes to show. I feel like Dusty!

My DD would be 12th May according to FF but I'm (trying) not thinking that far ahead.

Can't wait to tell Hubby, BFF and then our folks. How long are you supposed to wait? I don't think I could hold off not telling immediate family, plus my assistant as she's been with me and the trials and tribulations of very lacking sex life. I know most normal couples wait for 12 weeks scan but I guess your family are there for you if not good news.

And another good point is I have a dentist appointment for crown work week after next....and not it will be on the NHS! Hurrah, finally I get something back. That and antenatal and delivery too so not feeling too dejected.

I didn't really have much chance to think about how to tell the hubby as I got up this morning, figured i'd do a test with FMU, never expected a BFP, came out the bathroom and sat on the bed in a state of shock. The hubby came up to give me a kiss and noticed me sitting there all shocked with test in hand!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm glad he was here but I'm not sure I coped well with the shock of it all LOL.

Anyhow... I hope that this is catching. All of you lovely ladies thoroughly deserve your sticky beans. We've been through a lot and I know in my short time in here i've prayed for beans for all of you. I know you will get them and i'll be here when you do to wish you all the bestest sticky beany hugs and huuuuge congrats to you all.

QQ - my fingers and toes are crossed sooo much for you. I'm sending you extra special beany vibes. You've helped me personally and many others so much with your knowledge. I hope all don't mind if I just say thank you to you for your help and comforting words (and the kick up the backside when I needed it! :rotfl:). And I desperately hope that your bean is not so long in coming. I hope that is ok to say and I don't offend anyone.

Thanks all and especially MV. I know we have had some good banter over the past few....long 8 months. And QQ too. I know you're on this and the others and if it wasn't for your in depth knowledge, I'd never know half the stuff I do.

Have a few stabby pains in tummy....and it's not due to the crap food last night although I am treating myself to a KFC on the way to train station...a funny sunday tea I know but I need food! Belly is a bit gurgly but am sure food will sort it.

It's weird not telling anyone. Obviously DH will be first (well second to you guys) but BFF is currently texting me saying 4 more sleeps to go and I can't wait to see her face to face and tell her. My house feels like a mansion today with nobody in to say anything to and just me bouncing around blubbing with happiness the odd time. x
