Am coming out of lurking to ask a question...........is it possible to be ovulating on day 22 of what has kinda settled into a 31-36 day cycle?

Yep. If your luteal phase is 14 days, then CD22 +14 is 36:cool:

I hadn't thought of it like that. Although I prefer being pessimistic in the 2ww to reduce disappointment.
Pessimistic?:naughty: You need PMA for the bean to stick.
You can be upset when AF arrives but not before:cool:

I keep reminding myself that Catherine de Medici had no children in the first ten years of her marriage and then ten in the subsequent twelve and I've already got one.

Positive Mental Attitude. It always reminds me of the advert where Linford Christie is saying it to this little boy and then he wins the sack race. Not sure what it was advertising though.

    Hi Ladies

Not been on for a couple of days coz nothing much to say - on the TWW. I'm tentatively wondering about asking to be put on the testing list for the 14th? But I suspect AF will arrive before that as had short LP last month. On that note, is it really bad if its only 9 days? I know people say 12- 14 days is ideal so I don't know if I've got something to worry about. Thx
Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T
  • Hello Ladies :D

Just been lurking and reading the past few days as I haven't had much to say.

(((Hugs))) to those who got caught by the witch, and Good Luck to those testing soon.

I am on the fb group as no one else on fb can see or find it :D

I've got nothing to report, I'm CD20 or 21 I think, so expecting AF at the back end of next week. Is everyone else's pre-AF symptoms always the same, as mine seem to change from month to month. One month I'll have sore b o o b s then not the next, one month I have a migraine but not the next etc etc. But no matter what there is always one constant that I can take a small measure of comfort in: the fact that each month I'm always a bad tempered grumpy bi*ch before AF

I don't usually have any signs apart from that sometimes my BBT drops the day it starts (whereas other times it doesn't drop until after or it goes gradually over CD1-3). One of the reasons I like charting is that it narrows down the window it's likely to come in.
