Just got home from work (early, yay!) and feeling less hopeful this afternoon... still feeling a bit sick (which is abnormal), but cramps are increasing to what feels more and more like AF
I know it's not over til AF shows up, but I still feelhaving really felt like this was our month.
Sorry - I mean - PMA! PMA! PMA! :j :j :j
As for holidays...well we've got a whole list of contenders, but we are probably going to go for something quite last minute, as whether or not I'm pg has an influence. My first preference would be to go skiing, but wouldn't want to go if I was pg (I fall over far too much!). Alternatives are cold places like New York or Portland, Oregon (where we have friends/family). Or go for something completely different and go somewhere hot and sunny (although I think I might find that weird...) We've never been away at Christmas before but thought it would be fun to do just once - and hopefully by next christmas we'll be three, so won't have the option of spending it just the two of us
Mmmm just picked some sweet peas from my garden and they smell gorgeous
Is anyone planning to watch Twilight tonight? I haven't seen it before but it looks quite good. My DH is going out so I'm all alone with my cats and my chocolate....!

p.s. Meant to say - a new thread would be great, thanks QQ"Live long, laugh often, love much"

BB1984 This journey really is a rollercoaster huh? We can be totally convinced one minute and happy and so despondant the next. ((hugs)) I feel so like that too, up and down... and I'm pretty sure the other TTC'ers do too!
Going away for Christmas is so lovely. DW and I were married last Christmas, so spent Christmas on our own in our hotel in Boston and it was amazing. Just lots of watching movies, watching the blizzards, shopping, cuddles *wink*, time together - such happy memories.
This year we will be in Dallas (DW is from there) with the in-laws - celebrating Christmas, our 1st year wedding anniversary and NY there. 3 glorious weeks of being in the States (who, lets admit it - do Christmas better!) - relaxing, eating bad food and being with family who we rarely see - but also getting out and doing some things on our own.
This will be my first 'holiday' this year! Im all excited now :j:j:jBaby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -

Hi i didn't think that i would see myself back on this thread so soon. I had my little boy last September and was going to wait till he was older, but i got broody and me and my dh have decided to try for a baby. I am currently on the mini pill, have been since my little boy was six weeks old. Last time after been on it, it took six months for me to concieve. I wasn't having periods on the mini pill and my periods did return straight away. This time i have been having period's whilst still on the mini pill. Im not sure if that means it may be quicker this time.
I am trying to time it right, as i graduate in July next year, so don't want to be giving birth before then. So basicaly im not sure when to stop taking the pill.Married 09/09/090 -

Hi everyone
Sorry so quiet today, busy not good day
Is it sad how excited I am about being here for the new shiny thread? A nice new start for us all I think
Have had a read, you all move fast, hugs to those that need them and YES watch Twilight tonight to the person who asked and everyone else lol! It is the BEST Twilight movie, it is just a good movie in itself whether you like Twilight or got on board all the Twilight c**p that followed.
In case you didn't think I was sad enough getting excited at new thread, I am VERY excited for BB (ducks)

Phew, I hate long AFs and spotting:o
Do you use really small towels like the carefree ones?
Happy anniversary!
I have been wondering about getting a mooncup for a while, but it has 2 different sizes - one for pre-preg and under 30 I think, and the other for post preg and after 30(ish) ...and seeing as I'm hoping to be in the latter category soon, I don't really want to buy one yetRight folks, I think it's time to start a new thread. This one is way too big.
I'll start a new one early tomorrow morning while everyone is asleep. I'll put a closing post with a link to the new thread too.
I'll PM the board guide so they could close this thread.
Let me know if you don't want a new thread, or have a better idea:)Maybe it'll inspire some shiny new beans to take root
I am thank you. I think I'm just generally a mardy moo- one minute I'm fine and then I'm sulking again
You know we can blame the PCOS, don't you?
Do be serious QQ :rotfl:
I'm in two minds about whether to bother tracking anything until I can actually TTC. My options are:- just track the length of my cycle;
- track the length of my cycle and do OPK's
- track the length of my cycle, do OPK's and temp
"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
LittleRzippy - do you find any benefit from temping?
I've never really given temping much of a chance but I'm sceptical as to whether I'll get any benefit from it because of the PCOS. Or does my excuse not really wash?Temping usually works with PCOS (not sure about Bigzee:p).
With us, we could get multiple LH surges/ewcm and no ov, so temping is essential if you don't want to BD every other day forever:o
I pretty much stopped BDing all the time when the CM dried up and I had no inclination whatsoever - seems to be a pretty sure sign it's been and gone for meJust got home from work (early, yay!) and feeling less hopeful this afternoon... still feeling a bit sick (which is abnormal), but cramps are increasing to what feels more and more like AF

I've got Twilight booked in on Sky+ box, but I'm not really into vampire type things, so not sure if I'll even end up bothering..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

 welcome moneysaver!
Don't know if you were on this thread when you were TTC last time round, but we're a very lovely and knowledgeable lot (well, everyone else is knowledgeable, I'm just lovely!) :rotfl:
I guess if it's vital that you don't get pg before July, then you'd better not stop using contraception until November. Could you stop taking the pill, but use condoms instead, to give your body a chance to sort itself out? not sure about the whole periods thing - I didn't have any whilst on the mini pill, then so far it's taken me 8 months...
What will you be graduating in?
Also, QQ will want to know your vital stats if you want to go on the front page of the neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeww thread!
Anyway - good luck!
