I am CD17, my af is usually 28 days but i have PCOS so might not ov every month. I have taken soy so should have ovd. Last time I took it I ovd on CD16. I might stop POAS and just see how it goes. Have BD the last couple of days anyway so will just see.

I've got PCOS too, although mine seems to make the initial phase of my cycle long and my LP phase short. Plus the fun of not knowing whether I'm going to ov or not and then have a cycle that's 60+ days!

Sounds like you've done all the right kind of things to catch the egg anyway, fingers crossed you don't need to worry about POAS again for a while :D

    hello everyone!

Just popping in to say a quick hello, mad busy at the moment so haven't been around much. Nothing to report from my side but hope everyone else is well.

Jules I remember reading something, think it may have been here or another forum where the lady got her BFP without EVER getting a positive OPK so it must be possible to miss the surge. You'll just have to bd as much as possible :p (tiring though, last month was I think the first time ever my OH turned down a quickie and I must admit I was quite relieved!)

    Congrats Goppers! :j

Huge thanks to the lovely ladies who are updating the list :T:T

Tons of sticky baby dust all over the place (makes big throwing gestures), aren't we due a run of BFP's fairly soon!?? xxxxxxxx

Hi folks, wife and I are trying for a baby, she came off the pill 2 months back and so far, two months and no luck.

I'm sure this is probably very early days to worry about anything, but havind put off having kids until we were "ready" and more financially secure, I now regret it a bit because i'm so impatient.

Anyway what I wanted to know if a) tips for getting pregnant b ) how long should we try before we see a doctor to check for problems?

    Cheers
    Welcome LGP
Can't remember if anyone replied, but if your wife hasn't had kids before she should be on folic acid, and could check with the doc whether she has rubella immunity, and whether either of you are on medication that would be contraindicated in pregnancy. She could also have a smear test, if that was due, so it was over and done with.
Biggest tip for getting pregnant seems to be DTD (doing the deed) every other day :) Good luck! And feel free to stick around. :)
    Hi everyone,

I used to post ages ago (March/April time) but had to leave as TTC was making me go a little bit loopy :)

However, still no luck and I thought if I'm going to go loopy, I need the company of you lovely ladies..
    Welcome back dj

The day you ovulate counts as day zero 2ba. So if you ovulated on (let's say, cos I can't remember the specifics :o) the 1st of august, then 2nd would be 1dpo, and 7dpo would be the 8th. HTH
