TTC since 09/09 so just shy of 2 years.

Thanks for all your congratulations - it was a pretty big shock as totally didnt ever expect to get a bfp (5 tests later still bfp) and definately didnt expect to get it this cycle.

As for the feeling yeah I had an inkling but only because twas rather damp down below and the sore boobs (sore boobs are normal preaf but definately more sore) but saying that the day before testing I spent a small fortune buying af products in boots as was convinced af was going to show.

Ah thats fantastic news Phunkles, really really pleased for you. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy. Hopefully there will be loads more of us joining you soon :)

Hope everyone had a good weekend, sounds like you were all busy. I spent Saturday re-arranging our bedroom and the spare room in prep. for when I do get pregnant (we are only on our thrid cycle but as it involved moving wardrobes thought it better to do it sooner rather than later!) Af has now finished so will start using my OPK's from Thursday (my cycle is usually only 26 days - lucky I know!!)

Lots and lots of baby dust to everyone, esp. those on the testing list, really hoping you get your BFP's :D xx

Yeah, we only have a 2 bed house at the moment :( did look at some three beds when we moved last year but it just ended up making all three bedrooms tiny for the ones we could afford so stuck with it for now. It has an en-suite as we have the second bedroom as ours (its about double the size of the supposed 'master' bedroom lol!) I am a bit worried about the en-suite for when the child gets older but I'm sure it will be ok, will just have to lock the door from the outside or something? Its already a nice neutral colour so wont need to re-decorate. Look at me doing all this planning, I'm not even pregnant yet :rotfl:

Bigzee, so long as the witch don't show:o
I'd still BD just in case you haven't ov'd yet though, your temps are...:o
Also, why not use OPKs instead of HPTs? OPKs can pick up both the LH surge and pg?
I would if I had anything even verging on fertile CM. th_boredsmiley.gif

Sorry for the BFN BigZ, but we all know how much you like to poas so you'll get another chance to do so tomorrow :D. Hope your sis is on the mend.
lol, it's not like I go out of my way to do it! :psEm_blush7.gif
She is indeed on the mend, thanks for asking :)
Old witchy's getting on my nerves. Had a bit of a mope around last night, thought I'd allow myself to wallow in wine and fatty foods for one night then treat today as a new start. I think this month I might put ttc on the back burner a bit, OH thinks I may be overthinking things at the moment and he's probably right. I may concentrate on eating well and getting healthy this month instead and see how it goes. Booked myself in for a 7am Yoga class on SATURDAY .
Hope you're feeling less mopey, and the less stressed approach works for you colli :) You are utterly crazy booking in for 7am on a saturday though!!th_eek.gifth_yikes.gif

Thanks Mishka x (I really do like that name, noted in my baby names list)

    aw thanks :o

Not actually my name though, its what i use on any forum I'm on.

Please dont feel put off using it but its actually my cats name. I was watching Ralph Harris on animal hospital (must have been nearly 14 years ago) and they had a cute little kitten on it called Mishka we I had thought he had said it was Russian (or something like that) for cat, not so sure now!

If i could get away with it i would call my child that, my cat is a real pest though and her nickname is 'rat' so dont really want to connect the two ! :rotfl:

huge congratulations phunkles that really is fantastic news...and an inspiration to us all!!

feel mopey today - a girl I used to work with (who got married years after me) has just had a baby - photos on facebook (damn that facebook!!) and the couple who live across the road have just had one:(feels like the whole world is at it! I know I shouldn't moan, I suppose we don't know what goes on behind closed doors, just because they've just had a baby, doesn't mean they've not had problems, could have been through allsorts to get there. And I've got my first appointment tomorrow at the 'infertility' clinic......rant over!!

Hope your sis is on the mend bigz

sorry for being a moaning minny, hope you've all had a lovely Monday
