I tried to suggest I would drive but my step-dad has insisted that we stay and I cant say I am on antibiotics because I dont want to outright lie to them. I thought I could maybe tell my sister and her and my OH could sneakily drink all my drinks? any better suggestions?
Hmmm not sure other than telling a little fib. Maybe say you're not feeling to well.lemonmelon wrote: »You have some good signs BigZippy - I'll be keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you and emsbet

I'd say you had a headache (or migrane coming on if you get them) and didn't want to make it worse. Or you've had a bit of a funny tummy. Although if you're not drinking people might suspect. Why not just have one but really slowly? I don't know how many DPO you are but the umbilical cord doesn't even begin to start forming until 12-14 DPO, and the developing baby isn't drawing anything down it until around 20DPO apparently. Obviouisly it's what you're comfortable with, but I don't think getting one drink so not to look out of place will do any harm at all.
Evening Primrose tablets arrived today. My word those are some big capsules! I actually started to question whether they were meant to be swallowed....
Leaving for France in about an hour, think I'm nearly packed. Stresses of the day have gotten to me a bit (had to haul 10 boxes of supplies for the house in from where the delivery man left them at the top of the drive and they weigh 6 stone each and I only weigh 9 stone 10lbs! So my back is in bits, and I had to go from our 'packing' consisting of 2 passports to fully packed in the space of a day, and about 20 other urgent things that needed doing) and while trying to zip up a case the zip broke resulting in me bawling my eyes out and DH (who was napping upstairs to prepare for the drive) coming down and very timidly holding me as clearly I'm a crazy person. He talked me down from my ledge though, pointed out we were leaving in 2 1/2 hours not an hour and nothing I still had to do was actually insurmountable. Then he told me to sit down with a coke for 20mins so here I am0 -

So, CD4, work is beyond depressing, what with the threat of redundancy looming over us. Boss, who is off on maternity leave, announced that she is preggers again and will only be back at work for 5 months before going on maternity leave again. This led to me doing the month maths and realised that if I hadn't mc'd, I'd be on maternity leave before she would be. But I'm not, so no respite from depressing work situation for me, unless I get made redundant of course! Had a bit of a cry on the way home in the car

Glad you're all sorted and ready to go. I hate packing so know how stressful it can be - and that's without the added stresses you came across.
Well done to the Hubby too
Enjoy France x0 -

Awww bug ((hugs)).
It is really tough when others get pg when you should be. I sit next to a girl who is six months gone and it's so hard. People come over and ask her questions about how it's going etc and although I am happy for her it's so hard not to feel sad.
You just have to remember that your time will come.
