Well I've just bitten the bullet and got my friend to buy a clearblue fertility monitor for me on ebay. It should arrive on Tuesday, so I just need to get the sticks to go with it now. I know it's more expensive to get them in a shop, but as time is of the essence, I thought I'd get them that way rather than get her to buy more things on ebay for me.

Any recommendations for the cheapest highstreet place to get them?

Hi. I would try your local lloyds pharmacy, or your local chemist. I know boots do them, but sorry, not sure who else.

:j congratulation purplepink! Wishing you all the best for your pregnancy.
Lucy it says not to read the test after about 10 mins as there is a chance of getting an evaporation line which can be mistaken for BFP. However an evaporation line is usually a sort of grey colour. If the line is the same colour as test (pink or blue depending on the make) then it should be a positive. Good luck tomorrow.

    xx

Morning everyone. Right, did a preg test at 4am as I was dying for a wee. (one of the poundland ones again). waited for about 20 mins,no lines at all came up at all so I put it down as invalid. wake up 2 hours later and 2 lines!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It says in the instructions to disregard result after 5 mins so im not entirely convinced. Has this happened to anyone else? Going to try a clear blue tomorrow morning.

    Hi Lucy,

This happened to me on Friday too and i got my positive this morning. When are you due AF?

I would buy a clearblue and test again tomorrow morning - fingers and toes crossed for you xxx
