DH is convinced we'll have a girl first. I'm not sure if that's wishful thinking (he's thoroughly wrapped round my youngest niece's little finger).:) It's sad to see him so down and broody at the moment though, with me having been so ill and with a possible op looming, it's hard to think that we won't have to put off TTC...again..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
I've just posted this on the WTTC thread, but some ladies here might be interested here too??This may be of interest to some of you UK based ladies, if you don't have something like this in place already. It's one of those HSA type schemes, but on this one (and maybe others, I just know about this one cos my dad has it too) you get a pay out on the birth of a child, which if you work it out more than pays for the premiums you pay, plus you get money back for dental/optical/etc bills back. Might be worth a lookie, maybe starting up 3 months before TTC (as you have to have been with them 12months before the birth of the baby to get the pay out)...? Just a thought
Depending on how much of a premium you want to pay, you get different levels of pay out/cover, so you can adjust it to what you can afford etc.

Only been trying for 2/3 months so was planning to just wait and see what happens - only bought the ov tests as i was in asda.
What is FF???
We done the deed last night, not sure if we should do it again tonight or wait until tomorrow0 -
Yay Twigpig!
God luck for testing ladies, emsbet I hope its not AF.
I am CD3 today, had AF since Tues evening. If not TTCing I would definitely need to be on some form of chemical product as I can't cope with anything when AF here, spent most of the week in tears, feeling awful and seeing criticism and slights where I wouldn't normally see them.
Bloomin' hormones!
QQ- Hope your dad is OK ASAP.
Hugs to all that need them, have quickly read through but not retained much more than the above. Now finished work for the week and had a V&T to celebrate. Worst week at work ever! I am focusing on thinking my job is to provide for my family and nothing more, I will NOT get upset about internal politics anymore and will be applying for other jobs that will help me provide more for my family. That is my mantra and I am sticking to it!
PMA all the way from now on, AF may turn me into a crazy lady but at least now I know my uterus has woken up from its pill unduced slumber so hopefully ov and sticky bean will follow.
Also, twins in my family, non-identical on my dads side (Nan and cousins, don't know any further back). Would have loved twins first time, but for 2nd? Obviously wouldn't turn them away but I will look like the girl in Willy Wonka who blows up like a ball (can't remember the name)!
Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine
Oh, does anyone know where SusanC is? haven't seen her for a while, hope all OK
