Morning all.
((hugs)) to all who the witch has got.
Oooo! Not long now QQ! Eeeek!
I'm at the in laws for a few days as we are back in our hometown for a friends wedding today (not THE wedding though!)
Still no sign of AF and the cramping has completely gone.
Hope you are all well

Hi everyone
I've been lurking around here for a while as OH and I are kind of TTC in a sort of 'leaving it to fate' kind of wayI have been using Fertility Friend to track my cycles as I came off the pill a while ago so wanted to see how things were settling down. I don't appear to have particularly regular cycles yet, so it's all still quite confusing!
I'm considering getting some OPK sticks to have as a back up, where do you all get them from? And I'm thinking of getting a thermometer too to track my BBT, I really want to start understanding my cycles more, but also don't want to scare OH into thinking I'm getting baby-crazy! :rotfl:
Oh well, we'll just see how it goes!

:hello: Hello 4nnabella I remember you from the weddings board!
Welcome! Everyone here is wonderful and really helpful!
I know what you mean about not scaring OH, I don't tell my DH more than the basics for fear of giving him "stage fright"
Good luck with TTC

Orange?
Yes Orange. Every 30th April, in the Netherlands, there is a country wide celebration for Koninginnedag (Queen's Day).
It is in celebration of the previous reigning Queen's Birthday and she came from the Oranje (Orange) Nassau family lineage. Therefore, everyone dresses up in orange clothes and has a giant party.
Basically, all of the shops close and anyone can set up a boot fair type stall to sell their unwanted stuff. Selling some small snacks and drinks is also permitted and most towns organise a small fair for the kids, some music shows and other artistic events. And in the evening there are usually some bigger parties.
It's tonnes of fun, a great atmosphere and towns just become a sea of orange! lol.
I have bought a white t-shirt with the word 'Adore' in orange letters and a picture of an orange crown below.
We will just be sticking to our home town though as a) it's walking distance and public transport is a nightmare on this day and b) although it's busy, it's not AS busy as Amsterdam, so it's easier for my OH to cope with the crowds and find a quiet spot when it's getting to him too much.
There you go, some Dutch culture info for you ladiesFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
